During the next edition of the festival, Italian (or resident in Italy) directors, screenwriters and authors looking for a production for their works will have the opportunity to present them to various production companies.
Submissions are open for the first FantaPitch on FilmFreeway e FestHome.
To submit your work you must be registered on the platform (registration is free). Pitches are accepted for feature films, short films and documentaries with a fantastic theme (horror, science fiction, fantasy and similar genres).
Each pitch must be presented with a pitch deck composed of the following materials: synopsis (max 1 page), notes on the project (max 1 page), biographical profile of the author (max 1 page) and a photographic or drawn moodboard in order to understand the tone of the work (optional, max 1 page).
All materials must be included in a single file in PDF format no larger than 10 Mb.
The ten best works selected by the Fantafestival editorial team will have the opportunity to be presented in front of an audience of production companies interested in the genre. The authors will have a 10 minute slot available to illustrate their work and in case of interest they will then be able to make agreements separately and directly with the production companies.
The list of production companies that will participate (some of which have already confirmed their interest) will be published on the Fantafestival website approximately one week before the event.
The submission fee for each project (regardless of the number of authors) is 15 euros and the final submission date is October 31st.
The presentations will take place in Rome during the festival on Wednesday November 27th. There will be no refund for travel and accommodation expenses of the authors.
Good luck!
