Sinossi: John Meyer è un archeologo fuoriclasse. Il professore di Boston è tenuto in grande considerazione per le sue traduzioni di testi mesopotamici. Quindi non è sorpreso quando viene contattato per valutare un antico testo, mentre sta tenendo una conferenza all’Università di Barcellona. La cosa strana è la grande fretta che ha il misterioso cliente, ma la somma offerta è ingente. Con pochi giorni a disposizione per la traduzione, John lavora giorno e notte mentre inspiegabili avvenimenti prendono forma. I suoi sogni sono pieni di visioni, e mentre sta per completare la traduzione, capisce che la pergamena contiene un rituale che potrebbe rivoluzionare il concetto di vita oltre la morte.

Synopsis: Johan Meyer is in a league of his own, when it comes down to Archeology. The Boston professor is highly regarded for his translations of Mesopotamic texts. He is therefore not surprised when approached to evaluate an ancient text whilst giving a conference at a Barcelona University. What is peculiar is the big rush his mysterious client is in, but the offer comes with a big cheque. With few days to translate it, he sets off to work day and night and strange and inexplicable happenings take form. His dreams are drenched in visions and when the translation is almost at end he realizes that the parchment contains a ritual that might just revolutionize the concept of after-life as we know it.
